Guessing no-one at Apple checked what happens when you have folder sharing on and Finder displays the opaque bar at the top... obviously looks even worse further right you go.
@curthard89 @siracusa I’m still annoyed when you go from selecting a non-shared folder to a shared folder. The folder you just selected moves completely away from where your cursor is at. Sometimes it leads me to immediately deselecting the folder I want to get into! 😡
@JoshHrach Oh yer! this is terrible, every time, you click and it shifts place then you click something else, its horrid!
@curthard89 Liquid Glass has soooo many shitty little easter eggs like this,
@curthard89 Yeah. I mean. Testing and QA is for toddlers right? I mean. That’s like what you granpa did. The cool kids just deploy to prod!
@curthard89 @Ragashingo If you do a screen capture of notification area or Control Center on macOS it’s been captured differently in each OS version so far. It’s my favorite broken piece. That and Mission Control flashing black when you have a full screen app that somehow is still not fixed four versions in.
@curthard89 @Ragashingo The overarching feeling they did some partial architectural changes but didn’t complete them by release is hard to ignore. Like macOS is usable but there’s more fiddly bits than normal, though I’m very divorced from memories when they initially reset things after iOS 7 and how bad that may have been (forgot the macOS version for that)
@curthard89 Ditto for the trash 😞
@curthard89 @siracusa it’s almost as if we should separate content from window chrome…
@curthard89 Visual glitches like that happen everywhere in macOS 26.
@curthard89 Just another example why it’s a bad idea to get rid of visually separated toolbars.
