Been working on the next version of IconJar for the past 2 years or so (version 3.0), no vibe coding, just pure Swift (SwiftUI used in the sheets) but AppKit everywhere else.
Slowly getting there, a lot to do, but a complete rewrite from 2.0 which was Objective-C.
Loads of new features, new formats supports. Watch this space :-)
It’s 2026, and if you’re looking for a new design tool… hi! If you’re new here, or you’ve been away for a while, here’s what we’ve been shipping and what you get with Sketch.
First up — the editor (which got a big redesign in 2025, btw). It has everything you’d expect from a great design tool. Last year we added frames, stacks, progressive blur, and a whole lot more. ↓

I'm very please to say that Base 3.0 is now available!
If you work with SQLite database files, I think you should check it out.
Ok I promise this is the last one; I'm super pleased that Apple give their iOS design resource a big update taking full advantage of Frames and Stacks.
Their Design Kit is now also better integrated into Sketch and can be installed without having to juggle DMGs anymore.
Instead it's hosted now on a Sketch workspace which gives a full web canvas, and our free – and awesome – web inspector.

In the latest Sketch we're taking an idea from Apple: Naming our releases.
At Sketch, we're a proudly European company and we're naming our releases after European cities from now on.
And we're starting with *Athens*: https://www.sketch.com/blog/
A foundational Sketch release named after one of the foundations of western civilisation. It also starts with an A – which makes it easy to keep track of – and, not unimportantly, because democracy was a pretty good idea they came up with there..
We've released our biggest update since, I don't know, we introduced collaborative editing in Sketch? Possibly bigger.
So, what's new? Frames, Stacks, Huge Command bar improvements and so much more. I'll toot a few more things but how about a short little video first? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBaaWweblKg
