I think Your Friends and Neighbors embodies the concept of ‘this is going to end badly’ more than For All Mankind.
I still laugh when I think about when my kid would lean over to me at our theater in Ballard and whisper, “Dad, this is going to end bad.”

Lolz. I still flip off any car I see with an Imperial logo and thumbs up any car I see with a Rebel or Jedi logo. It’s like rooting for… well… you know who in WWII.
“… MAI-Code-1-Flash, Microsoft is introducing MAI-Thinking-1, a reasoning model…”
Remeber when there used be human and fun code names for software projects? Chicago, Pink, et al?
The NZ steampunk fest attendees are about my age and therefore had to take their high blood pressure meds before attending. Seriously, it is nifty folks so committed to something they dig.
Let’s be honest… Link light rail going to #ballard was never feasible. The last time I did the math, I was going to be near retirement age before it got to Ballard AND it only cared about where the silly hipster tech kids live along the Ave. They won’t even be around after AI replaces their jobs. A real line would go up to 85th at least. They are not brave enough to send it along Aurora. I never believed I would have any option other than the 40 to Northgate Station.
It is always interesting to me what and how people complain. I read some headlines that The Mando and Baby Yoda movie was middling. I saw it on old people’s movie afternoon today. I enjoyed it. Like a big episode. Not every movie that has Star Wars in the name has to be bigged up. Enjoy it for what it is. If it is part of a bigger story, we’ll find out…. you know… like we had to when we found out Vader was Luke’s Dad.
