They needn't bother.
The orange regime itself will probably blow up some landmark or other soon, to manufacture consent for the Patriot Act sequel.
I mean, come on. Does ANYONE ACTUALLY STILL BELIEVE THEY WOULDN'T?? You think there's ANY line they won't cross? We're talking about people who traffic children and bomb hospitals in double-tap attacks. NOTHING IS OFF THE FUCKING TABLE.
@mcnado I've been out of the industry for quite some time, but I believe they are still required to get a criminal history check done by the airport to get an airport access badge. Need the airport badge to get beyond the checkpoint with prohibited items (weapons).
They could very easily be on the public (non secure) side of the airport with no check though.
@dandrumheller @mcnado
Er, this appears to be yet another area where they are flouting the laws.
https://wgntv.com/news/wgn-investigates/ice-agents-lack-airport-credentials/

ICE agents deployed to airports during the government shutdown are now expected to get access behind checkpoints without the SIDA badges normally required for unescorted entry into secure areas. That means bypassing the fingerprinting, background checks, and training airport workers usually need β a move that could weaken the challenge-and-report culture airports rely on to keep secure areas secure.
@MaryAustinBooks @dandrumheller @mcnado
they want to set up an event that makes it easier for terrorists to destroy an airport or airline in hopes of getting everyone to rally around the neo-Nazi the way they rallied around Bambi after 911
it'll prob. work, used to be public knowledge that Bush was warned an attack was coming a month in advance & he chose to sit on his hands & let it happen to make people stop talking about the fact that he stole the 2000 election -- yet zero consequences
@mcnado when I first joined the military, I could have brought Fidel Castro onto base with just my military ID
At least, that was the myth
