The desire on returning to the UK to buy a house in the English or Welsh countryside, install solar panels, collect rainwater, and grow vegetables, is very high. The world has gone to chaos, let's make it small again.

@woody self sustaining energy encapsulates that already... Self sustaining water use though, that's the real challenge especially with long hot summers
@dee @woody But you did say Welsh so lack of rainwater is absolutely not going to be a problem. It's even a bit damp here in the Cotswolds. Never forget poor old Doctor Foster who disappeared under tragic circumstances locally.
