Heh, I was going to comment on your previous pic that whenever I go by there (i.e. visit Formaggio Kitchen) I'm so overwhelmed by all the stucco that I barely notice the door.

Do you know the story behind this? It looks like it's been years in the making.

🤣 Yeah, it's... A lot. When I looked it up for the address earlier I read that most of the "adornments" are attributed to a self-taught artiste who lived there in the 60s and 70s. So although the building dates to 1875, there were no preservation laws at that time. Happily for us! 😂
