Diary of an AuDHD Squirrel. Day 879 , Wednesday 25/03/2026

Wednesday started around 07:15. The usual start to the day making breakfast for the two of us & then chores.

The weather was rubbish this morning, cold, windy & snowy!

We drove across to my late MiL’s house, I fitted a new toilet seat, the old one was removed when the house was converted to help my MiL when she got ill.

We also started on the loft, a job & a half!

We worked thru till lunch then called it a day & stopped off for a bite of lunch at a pub we know.

Got home in time for coffee & a piece of birthday cake!

We continued our Jurassic Park fest with Fallen Kingdom & then Dominion.

Final Thoughts.

A busy day but we did get a lot done at my MiLs. There does seem to be endless stuff there though!

My Mum passed on this day in 2019, just before the pandemic, which was a blessing she would not have fared well under full lockdown I suspect.
I miss her every day but most of all on this day.

Thank you to all those who are helping me on this journey, in a myriad different ways. I am thankful to each & every one of you! πŸ«‚ πŸ«ΆπŸΏοΈπŸ––

@Tim_McTuffty sorry about your Mom and at least these times brings memories of days gone by ...You and Rasta are basically living the same kind of days except he has timelines to meet as property belongs to someone else ...rest well and relive the good memories of Mom ..it brings them alive for a short time again ...

"GNU Terry Pratchett" is a tribute based on the Going Postal novel, where characters send a fallen colleague's name through the "clacks" (semaphore) system forever to keep them alive. It signifies: G (send on), N (not logged), U (turn around), ensuring the message never stops, often accompanied by: "A man's not dead while his name is still spoken"

@amiserabilist @Tim_McTuffty Glad you are to understand.. ME NOT SO MUCH ...
@Lstn2urmama @amiserabilist It’s like SOS but it keeps the name attched flowing around the network - imagine a letter that is always in a post bag but never gets delivered. In that state it carries on, in theory, forever.
@Tim_McTuffty @amiserabilist you all know that when one wakes nothing makes much sense to some especially when head is inflamed and the excess is coming out of eyes for hours ...not tears ...
