Mx Rey (Fuck ICE) 💜 🏳️⚧️@skinnylatte my city (Somerville MA) does this too. cars run reds and blow through stop signs and speed and park illegally and stuff? nary a cop, nary a fine. but oh my GOD if a bicyclist rolls through a stop sign they will not hesitate to issue a $20 fine.
and every time they beg the city council for more funding for their stupid cop toys, they wonder why we hate them

slash@skinnylatte Weird. I was pretty certain that the California Vehicle Code required motorists to yield to pedestrians and bicyclists always.
Daniel Barber@skinnylatte This is unfortunately typical. I had a guy try to run me off the road in NYC. Caught the whole thing on camera with a readable license plate and the police wouldn't do anything.
