our house, in the middle of the street 🎢
@redsad I'll allow it despite the dreadful earworm
@LibertyForward1 @redsad It does make me wonder if we need a feature in Mastodon to simulate what YTMND used to do.
@redsad Why am I not surprised it's I-85?
@redsad This makes so much more sense than what that song was originally intended for !!!! 😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹
Thanks for sharing🩷
@redsad Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore.

House tired, house sleep.

@redsad

@redsad Well thanks a lot. Now that's stuck in my head.

The worst thing is I only remember those lyrics so it just plays on repeat like a broken record. You have no idea how evil what you've just done truly is.

@nazokiyoubinbou @redsad just don't blame it on the sunshine
@redsad That’s madness.

new ever given highway edition

@redsad
Okay, I appreciate this successful joke, but I have a technical question.

How did this remarkable transport construction manage to gain access to the highway?

@Nowhereman @redsad

Company can get an annual permit to transport mobile homes. Assuming the mobile home is prepared they hook it up to the tractor trailer and drive it on to the interstate like most other loads.

@slakemoth @redsad
Yes, I can imagine that in general so far.

But this specific trailer appears to be too long for any kind of highway entrance.

Obviously they managed it, but my imagination cannot follow this.

@Nowhereman @slakemoth @redsad
Extremely long loads can navigate some freeway on and off ramps, but not all. Routes are very carefully planned.
I once spoke to an escort driver about a very long trailer I'd followed off an I-5 exit. The trailer was carrying a 162 ft. wind turbine blade, which extended forward over the cab, and backward several feet beyond the end of the adjustable-length trailer.
@redsad
Oh... that's one of those "off-the-grid," unregistered #ICE interogation centers❗ πŸ™„ πŸ‘€
@redsad Honestly, as a non-native English speaker back as a child with rudimentary English, I really did not grasp what β€žmiddle of the streetβ€œ meant. From β€žIn the Middelova Streetβ€œ (maybe somewhere in New York?) to basically what we see in the picture above πŸ˜…
@sternengucker @redsad Middelova St. Is Wossamotta U.'s address!
@sternengucker @redsad As a native English speaker, I thought that it was literally IN the street (like the picture above) until I was like 25 years old.

You know you're a Redneck when your house is mobile, but your trucks not...
