We recently came across an amazing project called uBlockOrigin & uBlacklist Huge AI Blocklist.

As they describe it, it's:

A huge blocklist of manually curated sites (1000+) that contain AI generated content, for the purposes of cleaning image search engines (Google Search, DuckDuckGo, and Bing) with uBlock Origin or uBlacklist.

There's something really lovely at the top of the uBlock Origin filter list, just under the description, that brought us a small bit of very-much-needed joy, and we wanted to share it here with others 🫶

That is precisely why I created an alternate list using HOSTS format over a year ago to accomplish 2 goals.

1. Make an #AI #Blocklist that can be applied to multiple devices in multiple ways to protect entire networks from a central control point.

2. To create not only a large all-in-one list to cover all aspects of AI but also to provide a series of categorized sublists to offer more granular control.

Usable on sinkholes or single devices.

A blocklist for web sites using AI might be interesting, though extreme for daily use (still maybe). I'd rather avoid contributing to an AI indirectly.
