Aight, #fediverse

Should I switch from #archLinux to #gentooLinux now, or wait until we definitively know what's going on with #systemd and #ageVerification before making that decision?

Maybe even a #linuxFromScratch base system running #flatpaks out the wazzoo?

@c401mh3 #ArchLinux now reportedly censoring people who criticize #AgeVerification and one guy named Dylan Taylor who is pushing it everywhere - he is the one who pushed it to #systemd and he is also trying to push it to #ArchInstall ... Plus #ArchLinux forum moderators delete all posts related to age verification debate. I don't know what the fuck they are trying to achieve, but they are destroying their reputation in real time. A lot of Arch users are furious.

Arch Linux Says Opposing Age Verification is Code of Conduct Violation

YouTube
@PeterSoukup @c401mh3 Feel free to criticize age verification. Personally I hate the idea. That said, targeted harassment is against our CoC, and Lunduke is inflating this issue massively because that's what gets views. We have not put out an official statement on age verification because we don't have one to make yet. Relax.
@serebit
2/ admitting it under his own name is not a targeted harassment, that's overreaction. In addition, age verification posts are being deleted from official Arch forum. I'm being told it's because non technical topics are considered spam. Fair enough, But it really doesn't create good optics. My impression is there is 2 groups of people talking past each other - on one hand a hardcore arch nerds, on the other hand a wider arch user community with more political sensitivity.
