Elon Musk took over Twitter and turned it into the anti-woke, fascist-amplifying X.

There’s been debate about whether to stay since he bought it. But seeing how it’s evolved and the recent Grok deepfake scandal, there’s no good argument to stay.

I stopped posting there. You should too.

@parismarx Leaving feels principled. But principled exits can also be self-selecting echo chambers in disguise, you feel cleaner, the platform gets less diverse.

Speaking of a room full of fascists, Mastondon has not exactly been a free space for those critical of Israel’s fascist regime. Many pro-Palestine and anti-genocide voices have been silenced here in the past 3 years.

@bayo @micchiato @parismarx but Masto isn't one thing, it's hundreds if not thousands of instances.
If I've never had a pro-Palestine or anti-zio post censored (I haven't, I've been on a medical science instance and now a gaming one), how else would I have seen it?
I'm listening, and as I said I know my lack of experience doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

I have blocked and muted Zio weirdos/trolls without issue.
