Over on IG I just saw a challenge in the land of down under. Run 1km extra everyday until last one standing. They had 300 starting off, today - day 68 - they got 3 left. Which means tomorrow they have to run 69km after today's 68km ...
Well that's came to a end in somewhat a crappy ending. I didn't know that there was a pace limit to the run, so they had to keep it above 8km/h to make the cut as they ran a km a day extra for 83 days in a row. Merlin (@wizarofrun over on IG) got hit by a truck yesterday, well his 50kg trailer did, he is ok. So he had to faff around with getting it fixed, transported to a campground etc while running 82km. This from what I understand made him not make the Hardecore Harry cut off time/pace. Tim (@Timk_endurance) set out to do 83km today not knowing. Still what an ultra run for all.
