To those who’ve set up #followRequests: Don’t be surprised if you’re currently receiving lots of requests from accounts that appear empty or look familiar.

There’s a major wave of users #migrating, particularly away from mstdn.ca (hashtag). The admin 🧵 : https://mastodon.online/@[email protected]/116278549283984096
When someone migrates, the request is sent again and it takes a while for the #followers to appear on the new profile. It takes also time that you can see content. https://fedi.tips/transferring-your-mastodon-account-to-another-server/

@NatureMC @FediTips exactly. A good admin is super helpful, too. When I j̶o̶i̶n̶e̶d̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶c̶u̶l̶t̶ migrated to Beige Party, our admin was super helpful, along with Fedi Tips. I'm as non-techie as it gets!
