Wisteria is in exuberant bloom and still on the old, falling over trellis. All six sunflowers seem well after transplanting if a bit of yellow in their leaves. Peas and beans are getting ready for strings to climb. The three potato beds are at different stages despite similar conditions but all look good, with wispy onions coming up down the middle. Garlic has recovered after I yoinked the fungus, which so far has not returned. Not pictured, the greenhouse is doing well too, and I finished the March direct sow planting today. Pixelfed is having some issues but the plants keep right on. I hope you had a great weekend wherever you are. #growityourself #garden #gardening #bloomscrolling #horta #jardim #porto

Your wisteria is absolutely beautiful!

My wisteria stopped blooming two years ago. Do you do anything special to get all those blooms?

@[email protected] In short, no. We bought a house that had not been lived in for a decade. I saw vines in the winter but did not realize it was wisteria until it bloomed -- I take no credit. It is pulling down the support it is on, which includes electric wires and flood lights 2.4 meters above a concrete pad. 🫣 I am not sure how to move the blooms especially because the bees are very active. I live in Vila Nova De Gaia, Portugal. So that might be the difference? Magical here

Oh, I bet the climate is just lovely there!

Thanks for replying. Guess I'll have to keep scouring the internet for ideas/ suggestions.

They look so heavy with blind; I hope they don't pull the wires down! Best of luck with relocating them.

@[email protected] I have gardened in a variety of different US conditions and I have a new appreciation that so much I grew was transplanted across the Atlantic. But a lot of seeds for sale were bred in the US, and now making the trip back. The photo of the wisteria captured about 1/3 of it. The neighborhood smells faintly wonderful a few blocks away. At night here directly underneath it's almost too much. We have happy bees! Good luck with yours and I'm sorry I have no advice
