@jpmens just checked in with my parents in NZ and, damn this Monday is contagious! The *whole country* is down with it. Everybody. I can’t believe it’s going to spread as far as Europe in a couple of hours. Nobody is safe!

CMDR Yojimbosan 🅅⁂@dch @jpmens Not quite as bad as it could be - In the Otago region, Monday has been successfully cancelled for most of us, under the guise of "Otago Anniversary Day" - unless they work for the University, which still gets its full dose, because it turns out that there was actually no formal declaration of "Otago" and therefore no fixed date to have an Anniversary on, so the University changed theirs ...
