Could you recommend me any blogposts / analysis about different expressions of hope in #ttrpg #gameDesign ?

I'm sure a lot of people wrote about it, but is any text especially worthwhile?

I don't mean just #daggerheart "hope" tokens, but also #wanderhome, Legacy: Life Among The Ruins, Dream Askew/Apart, #ryuutama . Doesn't need to be post-apocalyptic.

Any games which "train" people to hope?

@alxd I can’t give you something about hope, but we did run a game about motivation two decades ago. Sadly I only have materials for that in analog notebooks.

But one followup is a list of core drivers of humans: what gives you the strength to keep going?

The player is literal the "light" in a dark world

Evil has taken over the world but it created you in the process, now you are the only hope left.. Jump into the darkness and become a true hero!

I haven't played it yet, but Eco Mofos by David Blandy tries something hope related: https://davidblandy.itch.io/eco-mofos

I'm working on a solarpunk game myself that is supposed to ease players into radical imagination.
