@kde meanwhile kde logo still has sharp non-rounded corners
@errorgurumeditation @kde wanted to make them new logo - ofcourse - karbon crashed in mid of me drawing and wifi died. f*k…
@errorgurumeditation The emperor is working on that…
@kde Noooo! I need more rounded corners!
@kde I really am praying that you don't. Please don't become GNOME...

@nazokiyoubinbou

If you only knew the power of the Arc Side...

@nazokiyoubinbou
It's Plasma, fair chance you will be able to disable it in Settings
@kde

@liachra @kde Yeah, I just kind of worry that when defaults stray too far it can become a norm.

The Gnome interface is just getting so... yikes lately... I think its designers forget they're building it for PCs.

@KDE still waiting for my windows to just become perfect circles
@ferret
Death Star windows.
@kde And I expect that the oh so powerful KDE Devs can't stop rebel straight corners from appearing everywhere with each new bugfix action.
@kde dear lord... please don't 😣
@wojtek @kde iirc you can turn them off in kde settings
@kde Is rounding corners the new "cutting corners"?
@kde why round corners and have users yell at you when you can simply not have corners?
@TheEvilSkeleton @kde Oh god you just know some asshat is going to make a YouTube video about this yelling at GNOME devs

@thomholwerda @TheEvilSkeleton @kde

This is literally the PS Vita interface.

@NinjaDebugger Ha, exactly what I thought!
@thomholwerda @TheEvilSkeleton @kde They yell at us whatever we do. 😂
@TheEvilSkeleton @kde This window is very, very bouba.
@kde i'm fine with round corners as long it doesn't mean cutting them

@kde The “hours ahead/behind” feature feels a bit feature-creepy. It introduces a universal visual clutter for what I think will be a fun novelty for *some* users, at most. Was there discussion over what use case that specifically improves?

@moshimotsu
I take my laptop to different time zones within my country quite regularly, so do.many of my friends, family, co-workers, enimies... 🤪

For many people who regularly travel interstate or nationally, this is more than a novelty, it is a required sanity fix that has been requested for a while. Hell, I made a post roughly a decade ago requesting this feature and have seen many pop up on KDE Discussions, reddit, etc... over the years.
@kde

@liachra @kde Interesting, does the “hours ahead/hours behind” feature provide a unique advantage over just having the time of day? I have lots of international friends, and when scheduling calls it suffices to know what time it is there. Maybe I’m just not aware of the benefit to also knowing how many hours of a difference there is between us, additionally.

@kde ha, there is a fatal flaw in your designs... i have been running a universal decorations off window rule for a decade.

Like to see you round those corners. (Please don't)
