@kde The “hours ahead/behind” feature feels a bit feature-creepy. It introduces a universal visual clutter for what I think will be a fun novelty for *some* users, at most. Was there discussion over what use case that specifically improves?

@moshimotsu
I take my laptop to different time zones within my country quite regularly, so do.many of my friends, family, co-workers, enimies... 🤪

For many people who regularly travel interstate or nationally, this is more than a novelty, it is a required sanity fix that has been requested for a while. Hell, I made a post roughly a decade ago requesting this feature and have seen many pop up on KDE Discussions, reddit, etc... over the years.

@liachra @kde Interesting, does the “hours ahead/hours behind” feature provide a unique advantage over just having the time of day? I have lots of international friends, and when scheduling calls it suffices to know what time it is there. Maybe I’m just not aware of the benefit to also knowing how many hours of a difference there is between us, additionally.
