@elaterite lol - One of my guests on a recent Herring Spawn photo tour sat for an hour where dozens of sea lions had spent the night on a rocky shoreline. I had to put a towel on her seat in my car and we drove with the window down on our way back to town. I had to thoroughly clean my car that evening: seats, carpets, etc. Thankfully my car does not smell like a sea lion has been sleeping in it. 😆

@AlsoPaisleyCat is correct: I took this photo on Vancouver Island. They are California sea lions. They are on Vancouver Island at the moment during the herring spawn. Plenty of food for them! They will go to California soon to mate so you might see them at the San Francisco pier.
