The main character's parents in "Star Wars Outlaws: Low Red Moon" are top contenders for Worst Parents in the Galaxy. I was relieved when they finally met their end (not a spoiler—it says on the book jacket that they were assassinated).
Hate watching is still watching.
In a world where we pretend attention is dollars, companies profit from your attention even (and sometimes especially) when that attention is negative.
If you want to beat them, ignore them. Keep them out of the conversation. Talk about something better. Starve them out.
Last night’s dream put together characters from “Starfleet Academy” and “Lower Decks”. It included Jett Reno, Lura Thok, Boimler, and Tendi—and there was a shopping centre stocked with an array of moopsy merchandise, all of which I would buy if it was actually made.
Eight houses on the route home from the theatre continue to have Christmas lights up. Less than two weeks longer and they’ll make it to Easter!
Someone suggested not pulling any April Fool's pranks this year and I think we all need to get on board with that.
