Called BUPA as my insurance annual charge was quoted at 160% of the 1st-I-checked competitor's quote for a minimalist cover.

After jumping through hoops for some 5 minutes BUPA tells me there is a 30 minute wait. Or I can get a "secure messaging conversation" link texted to me.

I go for the "secure messaging conversation".
The fuckers send me a link to themselves on various apps WhatsApp etc.

Back to get on the 30min queue.

Amazing inability to consider customers' experience on display.

The temptation for me is to put it down to computer usage being disabling of humans.

But there are so many counter-examples.

Maybe it's computers+corporations that output rude interfaces?

Treat the workers like meat machines and then get them to set up customer interactions?
