Politics and policy are inseparable. Cook may be non-partisan, but he's definitely political, and his politics prioritize Apple's profits over ethics, morality, decency, or democracy.

I'm sure there were a lot of rich, well connected Jews in Germany who continued to think that bad things were only going to happen to other Jews - right up until the moment their property was confiscated and they were shoved into a cattle car.

Tim is an incredible operations guy, and even before Jobs passed, he was responsible for the regional manufacturing and distribution advantages that created Apple's current golden age.
Sadly, I miss the Apple that was more of a risk taking "visionary" brand. I got off the Apple train around when they switched to Intel chips, but they used to be a fun nemesis. Now, they just feel like a monopolistic anti-consumer bully.
