Z̈oé@uint8_t @Dio9sys oh, this is way too complicated, but corvée was a common practice in ancient Egypt. I don't think anyone has ever tried to prove that it wasn't used to build the pyramids.
But certainly skilled workers were also used, and they may not have wanted to chattle slaves to build the pyramids, just you know good old forced peasant labor.
