I went down the rabbit hole of finding the best way to plan and chart my own bike routes. I started with Strava, which I dismissed quickly. Next I went to Ride with GPS, then Mapy, brouter, osmand, cycle.travel. I also tried QGIS → export to gpx.

I have narrowed it down to brouter and cycle.travel. Over the next few weeks I will test-ride routes created in each, and then make a final decision.
