Bekah@ai6yr I think I’d seal up any crawlspaces if I lived near the interface, your bears seem far more interested in moving in than our bears do here.
This homeowner seems way more okay with it than the guy whose power/pipes got torn up.

I was in Vermont and walking when a black bear walked out right in front of me. Maybe 10 ft in front of me. Looked at me then kept walking.
John BurnsAs nature returns to human populated areas... I'm beginning to think my walks outside will always have bear spray on my hip...
Currently - coyotes, eagles, deer, plus tons of small mammals -- all regular in this zone. For several years, cougars pass through on way north, and black bears are moving further south in the Lower Peninsula...
I suspect wolves will find their way around, like the cougars did.
