Just found out about this ~70 bucks open source smart watch. A friend of mine seems quite happy with it and theres a high chance one can also use it for lewd stuff like showing the sensor data on one owns website :>. I will get one once I have spare money but right now its not a prio and I got other things I want to spend money on e.g. finally getting drone gear (recomms welcome).
@nicole4fox but new pebble
@FabioLeone94 I also still have my Whoop. I dont think theres anything wrong with other smart watches, I just found it hard to query their data and most are quite expensive. Especially in regard to aesthetics one might pick another one.
@nicole4fox I've had one of these for like 4 years very happy with it :)
@nova damn they last that long? Amazing!
@nicole4fox @nova Yes! It's an amazing little watch. I love mine as well.

@nicole4fox yeah, @pine64 / #Pine64 make some cool hardware for those that know how to code and/or solder.

@kkarhan @pine64 @OS1337 oh damn thats interesting thanks

@nicole4fox np.

@pine64 do some nifty stuff, and in terms of #documentation and #support.only have competition from @olimex and @RaspberryPi / @raspberry_pi / #RasberryPi.

  • Cuz most competitiors like @bananapi are just shoving out boards and not even try to get stuff mainline'd into #Linux or to provide proper documentation and #ReproduceableBuilds.
    • Which is a shame cuz the specsheets are good.
@nicole4fox
