Starting to get a little worried about this intense line of storms that’s coming through our area today. Schools are closed, there are tornado warnings and people to the west of us in Tennessee saw lots of local destruction.
If you are in any of these areas be careful today. About to hunker down here, fingers crossed! 🤞
@gedeonm Apple should at least have some “In case of Emergency, Break Glass” thing somewhere so that critical warnings are rendered legibly!

The line of storms seems to have broken up around us and passed mainly to the north. Got very dark and had curtains of rain but that was about it. Whew!

@gedeonm In the DC/MD area, we know it's bad when OPM allows telework/unscheduled leave. I swear, they've gone yellow or red (closed) more in the last 4 months than they have in years.
Schools are 3-hour early closing all through the region. And seeing everything that's happened west of us has me spooked, which normally doesn't happen.

I'm supposed to go see a showing of Project Hail Mary tonight, so I'm hoping the storm is a non-issue and clears out well before then (supposed to be generally done by 4pm here)
