I made a big upgrade to my little `font-size-adjust` tool. You can now upload a font, configure some variable axes if needed, and it will spit out the values you'd need for `ex-height`, `cap-height` or `ch-width`.

I've been tinkering with a userstyle for the Qobuz webplayer, to suit my own taste. It's like the old days of Helvetireader! It also works in the desktop app (with a little bit of admin).

I find fettling like this to be a fun and welcome distraction from the apocalypse that's happening at the moment 😉

Also, meant to say that The One Footer/Unfinished Business version of the episode has short snippets of each track and is only 1hr 11m. The Troika version has the full tracks so is a hefty 2h 16m!

Troika #60: One Footer in the Unfinished Troika - Hicks.design

Something a wee bit special for episode #60! This is the first one to feature *other* humans, because this is a crossover with two other podcasts: One Footer in the Grave (who I co-host with Marcus Lillington & Andy Clarke) and Unfinished Business (Andy Clarke & Richard Rutter). Each of us chose and introduced three 'desert island' songs, and had a lovely little chat about all our tracks.
