Many of the biggest policy decisions of Donald Trump’s second term follow the same script: move fast, ignore the experts, break things, then spin the disastrous outcome as a victory. From DOGE to tariffs to the ICE surge in Minneapolis, the pattern has repeated itself again and again. The war in Iran may be the latest example. https://thinkbigpicture.substack.com/p/trump-blunders-pattern-iran
Trump's Blunders Like Iran Follow A Familiar Pattern

Trump’s big policy mistakes follow a familiar pattern, and we should expect the same with the war in Iran.

The Big Picture
@georgetakei not the latest example, the last example

@georgetakei

You forgot blame Obama and/or Biden.

This morning I saw a clip where he mentioned the 8 imaginary wars he has stopped. He then said he's about to stop a 9th war. I assume he's referring to the one he just started. That's a special kind of stupid to say or believe that.

@georgetakei one thing I find interesting is that project 2025 was far more predictive of what trump did last year than agenda 47. It's pretty clear what direction he's following from this point onwards and project 2025 outlined a lot of antidemocratic actions which have not all been implemented yet
@georgetakei These people are all traitors to the country and should face the constitutional consequences that only traitors get. After we give them due process of course. Just so they can see how that's supposed to work.
@georgetakei Or do something stupid, crash the DOW after notifying his backers. His backers buy in the slump and Trump backs out raising the DOW and making lots of money for his mates. Dump and Pump.
@georgetakei #uspol And in each case, people die.
@georgetakei declare victory and leave.. it worked for Nixon in Vietnam
@Raven67 @georgetakei except Iran won’t let him. All it needs to do is continue to block the Straits of Hormuz
@georgetakei That’s been his MO his entire ‘career’.
@georgetakei he’s running the USA like one of his businesses: straight into the ground, unhindered by any skill, knowledge or reason and with unwavering confidence that his own intuition is the only thing that’s needed to determine what the best course of action is.

@georgetakei
Well, he learned from the best.

Or doesn't his special friend, financier and teacher Elon "Move fast and break things" Musk "work" that very same way?

@georgetakei

If it is the last , we take it .

@georgetakei and always: aide the russians.
