“Premier Danielle Smith has repeatedly said she supports a "sovereign Alberta within a united Canada."”

I have repeatedly said I support “squadrons of flying elephants within an effective Canadian Air Force.”

Repeatedly saying something makes it come true, right? Or is that only when wearing ruby slippers? Has anyone checked Smith’s footwear recently? <there’s no place like home…there’s no place like home…there’s no place…>

Every time I hear Our Danielle say that, I don't know whether to laugh or cringe. She's quoting a line about Quebec separatists wanting "a free and sovereign Quebec within a strong and united Canada." Trouble is the line was composed by a comedian.
