@mgorny hmm, doesn’t look like slop to me. All sources included, creates a minimal model as decision tree, the output is readable py3k and auditable due to the comments. The tweaks are likely the evaluation order and the exact ratios to flip at.
@mirabilos, I wasn't sure either but there's a lot of small stuff that adds up, like marketing style with all these numbers that just happen to be off.
@mirabilos @mgorny Bit that's really weird is the amount done in barely 3 days together with extensive commit messages.
@mirabilos @mgorny Plus well https://github.com/binaryornot/binaryornot/blob/main/CHANGELOG/v0.6.0.md the next day.

Maybe it's me having RSI and preferring to take things slow but I don't think I'd want to write two long changelogs back-to-back for a weekend software.

@lanodan @mgorny I can see most of this with having developed 90% of it in a private repo and then applying the changes peu à peu to the public structure.

But the changelogs (and two releases back-to-back)…

… maybe if I were still in my early twenties, I could and would do that.

Still leaning slightly towards benefit of doubt.

@mirabilos @mgorny Yeah I wouldn't say it's outright slop as I haven't seen 100% sure indicators but there's quite few strong ones, like would see what happens in a week/month to be sure.

her github profile mentions coding with AI so that’s another indicator

@lanodan @mgorny @mirabilos

@xarvos @mgorny @mirabilos Oh well… slop it is then.
@lanodan @xarvos @mgorny oh aait, it says "codingg with" AI literally, yeah, then, slop 😾

@lanodan @mgorny @xarvos ouch!

teaching a 6-year-old girl to use AI, starting at age 3

oh ffs, this is disgusting, @audreyfeldroy don’t give your kid brain damage that early!

@mirabilos @lanodan @mgorny i misread it, it says “playing with code/AI” and not “code with AI”
@xarvos @mgorny @lanodan thing is, that decision tree is AI in the widest sense, just not LLM slop…
@mirabilos @xarvos @mgorny Yeah although that's more like expert-system era of AI™, no? (AI annoyingly very much seems to be a moving definition)

At least it reminds me of stuff like gperf.
