As gas prices go up, people need to continue to buy only the same dollar amount, and when it gets to the point that they run out of gas, then leave cars everywhere as a sign of national protest, clogging up neighborhood streets, main roads, thoroughfares, entrance and exit ramps, and highways themselves.

I'm all for Alford sacrificing. Let him volunteer to pay triple tariffs too.
For anybody who is interested: As I type this, oil has gone up over $15 a barrel since the oil futures market opened on Sunday evening in North America.
It's now up about 38% over the price on Feb. 27th – the day before the Trump Iran War began.
