How can you defend Iran with stories like this of a woman 5 months pregnant, arrested on suspicion of a civil violation, forced to sleep in shackles on a dungeon floor with cockroaches, denied access to reproductive healthcare, & suffered a stillbirth, which she was forced to deliver in front of prison guards. Horrific.
WAIT. Did I say Iran? I meant this happened in Louisiana this week to Iris Dayana Monterroso-Lemus, whose fiancee is a US citizen and she had no criminal record. #ThisIsAmerica
Federal ICE and immigration agents are getting protested at hotels they are staying at.
"People now frequently turn out in the evenings at hotels where ICE agents are believed to be staying, to bang on pots and pans and play sounds on bullhorns to prevent the agents from having a good nightβs sleep."
Agents are also aggressively interviewing the hotel worker, cooks, housekeeping, etc regarding their immigration statuses. Hello, haven't they heard about "Don't piss off the cook that prepares your food?"

Press release for study on the effects of chemical spill the 2023 train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio reads like an attack on Biden administration. It takes time to come up with, and fund, a study like this. While I believe it is important to research this, I do not believe Biden needed to be referenced three times. Again, to launch a program like this takes time to write up and implement. Glad it was not set aside under Trump.
Every individual has their own unique way of navigating life, and that is OK.
Love is love.
Sex is sex.
A person is a person.
A persons sense of identity belongs to that person and that person alone. This in no way allows another person the right to interfere with someone elses individualism.
We are a society made up of uniquely individual persons and this is exactly as it should be.
Celebrate these differences and learn from them. This is the richness of life.
