Our intro:

Q1. Where are you posting from today? Inspired by a @wolfinpdx question, have you been to a cycling swap meet recently? What did you leave with? or without?

I love the idea of Ciclovia so much. And it shows what happens when streets are opened up.

@cainmark @ascentale @wolfinpdx @bikenite it provides such a great opportunity for people to enjoy themselves! There wasn’t just tons of people (all sorts) riding but also various activities along the way like zumba and dancing. CDMX has also made great strides over last decade in transit and bike/pedestrian infrastructure. Still way to many cars but much improved and would highly recommend visiting!

I'm sure it's changed a lot since the last time I was there. 1980. Only 46 years ago.

@cainmark I’ll bet so. Any plans to return?

Travel to anywhere too far not economically viable right now. But ot would be nice to see how its changed. I remember some places were beautiful but the air was polluted. Don't know if it was from factories or cars and trucks.

@cainmark air quality was not great during my visit. Limited visibility of the big volcanos
