@photos Is that a Tatra T3? It's fun to see how they evolved in Europe, while the American PCCs they were based on barely changed. The PCC I remember running in Toronto in the 1990s were in a rough state.
@simonbp yes, although it's still not the most drastic evolution of PCC, those would be Konstal 105N, since they are still pretty much technologically the same as Konstal 13N, which is a Tatra T1 clone
@simonbp @photos Yes, that is a Tatra T3. I was in Prague a year and a half ago and they look like they've been well cared for. This one is especially gorgeous!
@simonbp @photos Also, you caught a specimen that was redesigned for wheelchair boarding through the middle doors. They weren't like that originally and some of the non-accessible units were still in service when I was there.
@x0r @simonbp yes that's why I said that I'd love to see Konstal 105N modernised in same fashion but that will not happen nowadays
@photos @simonbp Ah, I read up a bit on the Konstal 105N and 105Na on Wikipedia, and I get it now. I've never been to Poland.
@photos i saw this car ad which shows some more cute Prague trams heh. sadly also how way too much traffic is allowed in the city centre.
