I have to admit I was imagining @gruber listening to me during that entire segment. 😱

@jsnell @gruber “Something is rotten in Mill Valley”.
@nickheer @gruber I can dislike the choices and think they need to be corrected while also seeing the value in the new features... and also I really do feel like the Mac got off easy overall in Liquid Glass. It's a halfhearted effort and if they had put their all into it, it could've been so much worse.

@jsnell @gruber Oh, I’m just being silly.

I listened to it last night and it had me reconsidering some stuff. But then I also realized the value in your presentation of it as an interpretive exercise, too!

@jsnell @gruber @daringfireball That makes it even more hilarious.
@jsnell @gruber @daringfireball I think even if one dislikes LG (and I don’t), the idea that it represents some kind of nadir in usability is quite silly.
@jimmyjamesuk @gruber personal theory: Liquid Glass is not an enormous crime, but it's the straw that broke the camel's back. It's the biggest symptom yet of the ongoing usability dysfunction at Apple.
@jsnell i loved that section!! 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
@jsnell @gruber @daringfireball 🤣🤣🤣. I fully admit, me too! While it “got of easy”, it’s still bad and it is so sad how much they backslided on basics they wrote the book on. iOS will get fixed and iterated on quickly, but I fear that MacOS will stay in this half limbo for a long time.
