Getting close to finishing my second vibe coded application. A planetary stacking application called "Strata".
@stroughtonsmith I don't know how to program, and have never made an application. I'm a designer, and an SME for the type of app I was able to create with Claude Code. This opens up a world of possibilities for me and I now have a list of apps for my hobby (astrophotography) that i'm creating. My first app, Laminar: https://www.macobservatory.com/laminar-planetary-capture-software
This image I took captures part of the Virgo Galaxy Cluster, rich with diverse galaxies. Lower right is M49 (NGC 4472), the brightest elliptical, hosting a supermassive black hole and thousands of globular clusters. To the left, NGC 4535—the “Lost Galaxy”—is a star-forming spiral. Nearby, NGC 4526 shows a spinning disk and dusty core, tied to a precise black hole mass. Together, they reveal the dynamic life of galaxies in Virgo. https://app.astrobin.com/u/Lead_Weight?i=okkras#gallery
M49 and the Lost Galaxy: Titans of the Virgo Cluster - AstroBin

This striking image captures a dense and dynamic region of the Virgo Galaxy Cluster, home to some of the most intriguing galaxies in the northern sky. Dominating the lower right is the massive ellipti...

I discovered a new nebula over the last few nights. Dubbed Burwell 2: Reflection of Delta Cephei. It's the hazy blue reflection nebula lit up by the bright double star Delta Cephei. It's surrounded by emission nebulas and dark nebula. A little more on the discovery here: https://www.astrobin.com/4kg6i9/0/ #astrophotography #spacephotos #nebula
The Iris and Ghost nebula! Shot from my remote observatory in New Mexico. Details here: https://www.astrobin.com/ctclf5/ #astrophotography #nebula #ghost
I'm not sure what this will be, but I definitely don't wan't a companion following me around the house waiting to answer questions or tell me when my next appointment is. I'd much rather have something that can clean, cook, and wash clothes.

Galaxy M108 and the Owl Nebula. There are an additional 1,000 tiny distant galaxies in this image as well, so view at 100%. I took this image with a Takahashi TOA-130 telescope from the deserts of New Mexico. #astrophotography #astronomy #spacephotos #space #galaxy #messier
