Palantir Technologies is suing Republik Magazine over an investigation into Palantir’s activities in Switzerland, published in December 2025. The lawsuit demands a counterstatement and is currently being heard by the Zurich Commercial Court.

RM will get the money back when the case is thrown out but by then they'll be out of business

@lerxst @republik_magazin I was thinking this; then I thought “maybe Palantir is already too well-known as evil for Streisand to have any effect” … but then why bother suing? 🤔 Perhaps it was simply the most evil idea they could come up with (evil people aren’t necessarily _clever_).

However, even @republik_magazin euphemizes Palantir as “controversial”. So maybe Streisand _will_ exact her terrible justice.

@republik_magazin Ugh, is this another example of a big corporation throwing money at suing those who say they are doing bad stuff? I hate this kind of abuse of a system that should protect the weaker.

Also like wtf, there is nothing particularly negative in the article – the concerns seem to be plausible and rejection is just part of doing business imo. Are they trying to provoke a #StreisandEffect by suing? 🙃
