Overall huge #linux wins

@tux I don't know without trying. But in my experience most older Intel Chromebooks work.

It all hinges on the Mrchromebox firmware. So look up of you can do that. And white gold

How to convert an old ChromeBook into a NixBook

your #chromebook comes already with Linux, (Crostini)

To enable Crostini:

Go to Settings > About Chrome OS > Linux.
Click Turn on and wait for the Linux environment to install.
Once enabled, you can use the terminal and install Linux applications like GIMP, LibreOffice, Python, Node.js, and more.

I installed, through #Crostini / #Linux the #VivaldiBrowser and #Bravebrowser so I don't use the Chrome browser.
And Linux / Crostini is sandboxed
