So many liberated #chromebook stories here.
Sadly all weak 16gig models, but great for #debian #xfce
Overall huge #linux wins

Do you happen to know if I can get Linux on my Chromebook?
Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Chromebook 82M8001YGE - 14" FHD IPS, Intel Core i3-1115G4, 4GB RAM, 128 GB SSD, Chrome OS

your #chromebook comes already with Linux, (Crostini)
To enable Crostini:
Go to Settings > About Chrome OS > Linux.
Click Turn on and wait for the Linux environment to install.
Once enabled, you can use the terminal and install Linux applications like GIMP, LibreOffice, Python, Node.js, and more.
I installed, through #Crostini / #Linux the #VivaldiBrowser and #Bravebrowser so I don't use the Chrome browser.
And Linux / Crostini is sandboxed
