@ryanashcraft I find this to be a very frustrating change, now it takes more taps to start searching again. Ridiculous. Also, I really like the morphing animation.

@richaesthetic it’s the same number of taps though.

Before: tap search tab, tap search bar
Now: tap search tab twice

The morphing animation isn’t worth the other tradeoffs. Making it harder to switch back to another arbitrary tab being a big one.

@ryanashcraft @Viditb I’m not on the beta so didn’t see realize the taps are the same. Thanks for pointing that out.

I love Vidit’s idea, also allows for liquid UI morphing! Hopefully apple sees this haha.
