Epstein files confirming everything I’ve known and felt in my bones from the beginning:
All of your favorites are garbage. Celebrity culture is disgusting and it needs to end.

*Yes. I am saying this as an (somewhat) active musician with a (somewhat) prominent presence inside music business, administration and artist development.
Music and celebrity/fame are two completely different things and it’s time we started separating them.
Celebrity ruins the universal* language, art and power of music everyday. Fame killed my favorite musicians.
It’s time for this excessive culture to end already.
@ErickaSimone Yeah, the Jay-Z and Pusha T evidence is damning, especially when they tried to claim that about Drake.
Def not a good look, and looking back, the boy did mention this when he talked about why he didn't release his other Pusha T diss.
Even Kanye said "Why the fuck would you go to that island?"
Yikes 😬
@dansup Bro knows ball. That Kanye reference has always stuck with me. I know he’s a bit nuts, but the fact that he called that out…. Just wow.
And OMG. I need to know EXACTLY wtf Pusha T was doing over there. As a heavily married man.
Also…. I always knew. The amount of Diddy parties I turned down in the early stages of my career. I also knew my career would take hits if I didn’t go. It was so tough to stay the course, but vindicating to know I was absolutely right.
@ErickaSimone Thats wild, and good for you girl for avoiding that!!
You must feel vindicated, with social media and the evidence photos circulating, it must feel like justice in a way.
@dansup I will always despise the fact they really want you to do weird shit to be “successful,” I will always be disgusted and sad for the women who went along with it (and are no longer to be found anywhere inside music). I hate that excess culture and hypersexualized, pedo behavior seems to be the bar for entry in mainstream music. I hate knowing in my heart I could be way farther ahead, but this was the issue.
Nevertheless, I was right from day one and I knew it.
Gotta just sit with it.
@ErickaSimone I can't even imagine girl, but you should feel so fucking proud that you knew you could go farther, even in those moments, when that wasn't so evident.
You are so iconic ❤️
@MisuseCase @ErickaSimone Most super rich got that way by at least a moral crime, and usually an actual crime.
Apple - startup capital came from selling phone hacking devices.
Microsoft - cloned BASIC and didn't pay the inventor. Then sold IBM an OS that Microsoft didn't actually own at the time of the sale.
IBM - monopoly and cozy with governments, from the 1890 census to the Nazis to the Cold War.
Musk - Tesla leeching off of climate credits.
Not surprising they are sex predators too.
@ErickaSimone @MisuseCase Force, fraud, and corruption are more profitable than productive activity. That is why in most traditional societies, the richest people were users of force (nobility, elaborately trained warriors.)
Below that were practitioners of fraud (bankers, priesthood, propagandists.)
And the producers were the peasants.
Having productive people get a somewhat fair deal was a 20th century anomaly, and not guaranteed to continue.
@bob_zim @Killertomato same. No one that I know or worked with directly.
And you never really know a person… but I have a sense he’s not gonna pull this. lol.
@P__X I went to the Grammy party then was trying to figure out why everyone was weird at the Grammy party just to figure out half of the Grammy party might be in the Epstein list.
So very, very tired.
