Over the past weeks I've polished my personal website and added some fun new details 🕺

robins own little space on the internet

There is now a little initial css animation on page load
The most enjoyable part was implementing the native view transitions. Now there are smooth transitions between the notes in the overview and detail view.

@iamrobin Some awesome looking updates!

Clicking through your site a bit, I noticed that the pictures here appears to be broken (src missing): https://www.iamrob.in/garden/photography/saul-leiter

@ReneHenrich oh thanks René for letting me know!
2018 is calling: there is now a darkmode! 😎
I finally have a subpage for the TV series I watched. Synchronised directly from my Obsidian vault.
@iamrobin Cool! Somehow involving Obsidian Sync or custom coded?
@rhazn the sync to the website is custom coded
@iamrobin nice, the power of open standards 🙌
@iamrobin Great updates! Love the details. 👌
@iamrobin Music is gone? 😢
@will will return as a separate subpage :)
@iamrobin I love the postcard idea. My personal epic/2022-rebuild branch _really_ needs finishing...
@iamrobin It looks SO good 😍

@iamrobin beautiful site! What tools do you use to make it?

It also appears that the nav bar is broken on iPad. Most tabs need a double tap to activate, but the media item doesn’t work at all

@JediMax thanks for letting me know Maximilian, definitely have to fix this!
@iamrobin looks great and looking forward to my favourite dinosaurus 😊
@iamrobin Still so lovely, Robin 😍
@iamrobin Parabéns pelo trabalho!
@iamrobin Love all the new details! ❤️ I’m in love with the equipment section in your photo site 😍 (also, how are you liking the X-E5 compared to the X-T5? Asking for a friend 😬)
@ericafustero thank you Erica 🥰 valid question! Technically speaking, the xe5 is a downgrade at the same price. I also find that the xe5 is slightly less comfortable to hold because it is very boxy. But the form factor and rangefinder style make up for the disadvantages in my opinion. And it just looks so good! 🤤
@iamrobin The size, the weight and the optical viewfinder are the big draws for me, but again, it's not cheap!
@ericafustero @iamrobin No optical view finder in the X-E5. That’s only in the X100 and X-Pro cameras. Unfortunately. 🙂
@florianziegler @iamrobin Ahhh, what a bummer! I recently went to a fuji store and tried a camera with an hybrid viewfinder that I thought it was the x-e5, but maybe it was one of the others 😅
@ericafustero @florianziegler @iamrobin the x-pro series is really nice ergonomic wise. I bought a X-Pro1 for ~250€ a few years ago and it became my absolute favourite camera
@kevin @florianziegler @iamrobin I was eyeing the x-pro1 and x-pro2 as well but their price in the 2nd hand market is crazy right now. 250€ sounds very reasonable, the x-pro1 go for around 600€ now.
@ericafustero @florianziegler @iamrobin 400-600€ is the usual price, the 250€ was a real bargain and only because the backside wheel doesn’t work sometimes. I wouldn’t have paid 600 for it, even though I love the camera
@iamrobin this is so cool! It makes me want to make a personal website again 🤯
