@stroughtonsmith Taking it a step further - does this mean that basically *ANY* new programming language that tries to launch post-LLMs will immediately enter the death spiral because the lack of source material puts them at an insurmountable disadvantage?

So programming languages from here on out are frozen pretty much forever? 🤔

The Death Stranding: Strands of Harmony concert was incredible. I was only a few hours into the game when tickets went on sale last year, but I knew I would be in for treat from the music so far. It did not disappoint ❤️
So, if anyone out there knows someone who knows someone who's looking for someone who is an experienced engineer, and is also a very good communicator and designer and guy-who-actually-understands-how-to-make-products-good...let me know.
This is super exciting because I’m asked all the time if I’d bring my apps to Android and Apple TV, and while I would love to, I just don’t have the time. But now I might
A year ago I couldn't rely on AI to reliably write much code for me that would compile. Now with a single prompt I can have it create multiple views in one go, and look exactly as I described, without a build error by the end. This is an example app for my open source Trakt API wrapper, TraktKit. https://github.com/MaxHasADHD/TraktKit

Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen officially announced for Switch and Switch 2

Now just one week away from the 2026 Pokémon Day festivities, the official Pokémon Presents show has been announced, and...

Making progress on the @CinemaTime update. The iOS 18+ UITabBarController improvements are incredible. Prior to this I was managing a split view controller and tab bar controller separately for each size class. I managed each presentation based on the size class, if I had a split view controller with 3 views or 2, and so on. It works great, but as a solo developer also unmanageable to keep the app up to date and supporting every device. Slowly replacing it all 😄
Finished Better Call Saul. What a perfect ending.
I miss Apples curved hardware. Looking at a number of my older iPads, they all look way more inviting than the square slabs we now have. They just look more timeless.
The current state of the iPhone app. I've been working on and off of updating this for about 4 years.
