Rejected 3 times. Waiting to hear back from an appeal, but currently stuck “waiting for review”. Meanwhile new apps are popping up every day, and existing ones getting updates every other day. That’s fun! 😔 Apple is telling me they categorically dont allow these apps on their store, despite that not being true in the least. But “other apps do this” is not a valid appeal either to Apple. It sort of kills any energy I have to make an app for Apples platform any more.

Am I crazy? 🤨 I'm unable to hide tab bar items that are meant for the sidebar on iPad / Mac, despite documentation saying you can. Tab item visibility is also ignored in SwiftUI.

I want to show 5 tabs on iPhone, and to fill out the sidebar on iPad and Mac. Both UIKit and SwiftUI are not allowing me to configure the tab bar with hidden tabs, and after 5 tabs they create a "More tab” that I want to avoid.

@stroughtonsmith Taking it a step further - does this mean that basically *ANY* new programming language that tries to launch post-LLMs will immediately enter the death spiral because the lack of source material puts them at an insurmountable disadvantage?

So programming languages from here on out are frozen pretty much forever? 🤔
