2026.1: Home is where the dashboard is 🥂

Refreshed Home dashboard on mobile, more purpose-specific triggers, easier access to protocol dashboards, eight new integrations, and more!

Home Assistant
@homeassistant - this broke my homematic integration!
Also, the update somehow did not trigger a current backup, so my last backup is 17h old.
If I roll back, I lose the last 17h of data, correct?
But at this state, I have lost 90% of my setup and frankly, I don't find the logs helpful even though I've been doing computers for 45 years...

Error occurred loading flow for integration homematicip_local: Exception importing custom_components.homematicip_local.config_flow

@homeassistant - it seems my installation of local CCU was erroneously replaced with the inappropriate OpenCCU one...

@homeassistant I still wish there would be an option to only update to the latest version of the previous months.

I wanted to update to 2025.12.5 this morning, but now I can't and have to wait another 3-4 weeks for a stable version.

Is anything like that considered already?

@kaiserkiwi @homeassistant

In addition, I would appreciate if fewer updates were released each month and the integrations were tested more extensively instead.

This update broke my #Tibber integration!
I restored my backup with 2025.12.5 and Tibber works well.
@svrider @homeassistant Have you opened a ticket ?
@FS @homeassistant
Ticket is already opened

@svrider

Workaround: Manually create an oauth Client in Tibber, enter Client ID and Secret to HA, absolutely restart HA completely, then reauth…

(I Wonder What was wrong with the credentials I already had in there…)

@homeassistant

@homeassistant After updating from Home Assistant Core 2025.12.5 to 2026.1.0, I suddenly had a constant CPU usage of 99% (normally between 20% and 30% on a ThinkCentre M710q). A rollback was possible, but after another update attempt, the same result occurred. So, for now, I'll stick with 2025.12.5.

@homeassistant my ZHA keeps restarting every x minutes since my update. Debugging is.... special for ZHA.

Does anyone have the same problem?
