They don't listen even *after* the breakdown. They stand back and watch you continue to fall apart just in case some money eventually falls out. Then when you die (perhaps by your own choice), they wail and cry, "we didn't know!!!"

Yes, but maybe we need to destigmatize having a breakdown as some sort of failure. Sometimes things need to be taken apart before they can be put back together properly.

Then you pull yourself back together but you're still in the mental health system and people around you are like, "Well what are you doing here?" so you can never actually DEAL with all the issues going on because they're "too minor" compared to the next person who just entered crisis....
