Sheeep stuck on Welsh cliff reminds me of a camping trip in Snowdonia.

Sheep were rescued, next day they clambered up, to the same place again and peacefully grazed on grass growing in crevices.

Next morning they had moved on without help.

They may sometimes get really stuck but are amazingly surefooted climbers and descend where no man would tread without roping up.

There's an episode of Fireman Sam where Norman Price gets stuck on a mountain cliff with Woolly the lamb and they have to be rescued. Given that this TV series was produced in Wales, sheep on mountain cliffs seem like a recurring theme in Welsh culture and mythology

(I used to watch a lot of Fireman Sam when my boys were toddlers)
