As an american born emigrant (not immigrant) who left the USA for greener pastures, i can highly recommend my path in life.
It is the American thing to do, and was exactly how the country was founded: Leave an old world shit hole and make something new and better.
Odds are good that you will meet great new friends, your skills will be highly valued and you will achieve a great standard of living while doing good work to help uplift the country you move to.
Be bold and brave.

soup2nuts@theicarian FDR moved the US towards a Scandinavian style Social Democracy during his multiple terms in office. The Cold War and JFK assassination changed the trajectory. Maybe rather than immigration from these countries -- we could elect candidates that support the ideas that make those countries rank consistently high in happiness ratings. Democracy is messy. i'm not giving up on my country just because of a Nixon or a Clinton or a Trump. #democracy #freedom

gluttoThose countries are fantastic compared to the shithole known as the United States of America. It wasn't always a shithole. That really accelerated in January of 2025, after resuming full-force from it's startling decline during 2017-2021.
