EMAIL WRAPPED 2025

This year, you received too fucking much email!

Number of emails that found you well: zero

Number of emails that you printed, even though you didn't consider the environment: zero

Number of times an "out of office" autoresponder was immediately followed by the person answering your email: all of the times

Your favorite email was: none of them

Next year, you are considering: are there any countries where email is illegal, and what are their immigration laws?

@ricci My favorite email is still the one from 1998 about how the accounting team won the office tequila drinking contest. I have it backed up on a CD somewhere. The dot-com era was something else. Email these days lacks panache.
@superflippy @ricci my favorite email was from Sutter Institute for Medical Research in 2018 asking me to provide legs for medical research
@drbrain @ricci Did you?
@superflippy @ricci all my legs are presently allocated for other purposes
@ricci it could be worse. You could be forced to use slack.
@SETIEric I mean, i do, by choice,. So that I don't have to use Teams
@ricci "To apply for immigration, please send us a fax with your completed application form to 0023-800-TROGLODYTE
@ricci
So you don't like my football picks?

@snorerot13 not my favorite, Ted.

Nothing is

@ricci Number of emails that you printed, even though you didn't consider the environment: zero except those that you had been forced to
@ricci my vacation autoresponse informed folk that all incoming emails would be deleted unread. It really helped, but only for those brief periods of the year. My biggest step forward with regard to email was to retire 10 years ago 😉
@ricci i love email, i just hate what it's become
@ricci number of emails that ended up in your spam box which were actually really important: way too fucking many
@ricci Here in Brazil almost everyone uses the personal WhatsApp account instead of the company's email or slack.
@ricci number of emails that actually replaced a meeting that could‘ve been an email: zero
@ricci Forward all of the mails to [email protected] and you're fine.
